Jaime (Saul Fonseca), a 13-year old boy, lives in Porto, Portugal’s second largest city, with his mother (Fernanda Serrano) and her boyfriend. His father (Joaquim Leitão) is unemployed and homeless.

Jaime is unhappy with the situation and does everything he can  to reunite his parents. In spite of his young age he decides to find a job.

His plan fails and the situation gets worse as he starts missing school and raises the attention of a job inspector.

Jaime’s hard life becomes increasingly difficult…
