Álvaro (Pedro Oliveira), a newspaper reporter, becomes an involuntary witness to a quarrel between a man and a woman at a beach in the outskirts of Lisbon. After willingly driving the woman, Ana (Ana Zanatti), around when she seeks him out, he takes her back to the beach, only to discover that the male protagonist of the quarrel is dead. Apparenty, he has commited suicide. 

Fascinated by Ana’s mysterious appearance, Álvaro does not mention her when he is summoned by the police.

But as Ana comes in and out of his agenda, Álvaro had better pay closer attention to how he got to know her in the first place…
